A real Rocker's Review
What a great review/insight from Brandon Thomas, lead singer for the band Bleed the Dream... So nice to get a r&r dudes POV! Love you Brandon, thanks for the support!!
"So i just got finished reading my copy of the first installation of books in the Frankie Spencer series by Tommie Vaughn Grimes "This Rock In My Heart" for the second time. The first time simply wasn't enough. The descriptive manor in which "Tommie Gun" (as I and few others call her) speaks through the voice of her "alter ego"... Frankie Spencer is clever, heartfelt and down right kick ass. For those who find this fair city of Los Angeles, after being lost elsewhere, the world Tommie creates with her word play is- the real deal. Trust me. Reading her account of what its like to walk in to the building we all lived in for the first time, was like falling face first into a time warp. I know I am at an advantage having been there, but I wouldn't have described it any different myself. As she describes what its like to find new people, make new plans, and breath new air, you find yourself lost in your own memories of similar experiences as well. This book is a warm easy read and i suggest anyone with a love for the dreamers who make this world special, have a beer, or a glass of red, as Tommie Gun would prefer, light one if ya got one, and enjoy these pages of Rock and roll dreams, and the adventures that come with doing your best to live them out to the fullest. I cant wait for the next one... hope I'm in it. Congratulations on this "rock your face off" accomplishment Tommie Gun."

Announcing... The Lovers by Wall of Tom
As I lay in wait of the final finish line, I see the album so clearly now. It really is the perfect explanation, to what the hell we have been up to, for the last two years.
Two Years.
It will be, in full, 10 songs. It shoulda been twelve, but we are giving two of them away since they are covers, so that will be a fun little extra for everyone.
The full album 'The Lovers' from beginning to end is such an emotional journey, like life, like love... The songs have taken on a life of their own, as they tend to do. I have listened to them too much now, I need to let them all go. They have filled my soul in a way that only music can do... and I have never been prouder.
I would like to say that there is a little something for everyone on this album... since there are so many facets to love. Each song is from a different place, so.. there is a beauty in the diversity. I just love... love.
A special thank you to Paul Frost, of the rockin' UK trio The Zico Chain, who has been a true wizard behind the mixing desk. Taking all the months of layers upon layers... guitars, violin, drums, vocals, piano, and bass.. creating such an individual sound. He has captured Wall of Tom with a capital T. We are forever grateful for his fancy ears.
This album has truly been made by a bunch of cool friends, who I am truly blessed to be surrounded by and able to create beautiful music with. It has been a labor of love, every step of the way. When I think back on this musical journey that we have been on creating this album, it has been immensely rewarding. Wall of Tom truly has evolved.
I can't believe it took us this long to make. Seriously. I am not a patient person. But becoming a parent has changed me a bit, so now I am reaping the benefits of releasing something to remember.
Coming soon... to an iTunes near you..
